Railway Sector Ensures Efficient Transport of Spring Farming Supplies
Following the Rain Water solar term, the demand for transporting spring farming supplies has increased across various regions. The railway sector has taken on the responsibility of ensuring food security by facilitating the efficient and smooth transportation of fertilizers, agricultural machinery and other essential supplies for spring farming, effectively supporting nationwide agricultural activities. Since the beginning of this year, national railways have transported 7.34 million tons of fertilizers, an increase of 210,000 tons compared to the same period last year, and 76,000 tons of agricultural machinery, up by 39,000 tons year-on-year.
