In the first two months of 2025, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor rail-sea intermodal trains transported a total of 209,000 TEUs, marking a 58.4% YoY increase.

To meet the freight transportation demand of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, CR-Nanning has effectively coordinated the collection and allocation of open-top containers, organizing delivery of containers to Qinzhougangdong Railway Station based on demand, quantity and schedule. The containers are unloaded, picked up, and loaded immediately upon arrival. Additionally, the Qinzhou Railway Container Center Station has optimized yard planning and increased loading and unloading equipment, boosting the handling capacity from 2 to 4 trains.

The range of freight categories transported by the rail-sea intermodal trains along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor has expanded to 1,234 types. The corridor now covers 158 stations in 73 cities across 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China, with access to 556 ports in 127 countries and regions worldwide. The range of goods includes a wide variety of items, such as electromechanical products, agricultural products and chemicals.
